Ankle Foot Orthosis

This group of orthoses covers the plantar surface of the foot and ends below the knee joint. They can be made of leather and metal, plastic or fiber carbon. They can be custom-made or off-the-shelf. They are used to solve problems of control of the foot-ankle complex and some have an effect on the knee control as well.
